: The program begins with the latest development in the Middle East, followed by Congress and President Obama on the troubled economy. Interview with Dr. Karim Pakravan a prominent economist from Chicago on President Obama’s meeting with Congressional Republican leadership on the bailout plan. We also begin a seven part series on Iran’s involvement in Latin American – today – Venezuela

Roundtable
: The guest of the program will be Mr. Ali Sarshar, and topic will the recent male/female soccer game in Iran and also the and impact of the cancelation of an Iranian TV sports show.

Late Edition
: Today’s top story is new US Middle Envoy George Mitchell’s trip to the Middle East. We also have a report on the death of renowned American author John Updike as well as the latest on the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. From inside Iran, we hear about reaction to the cancelation of an Iranian TV sports show.

: Participant guests are Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh from London, and Mohsen Sazegara on set, to discuss the Iranian President Ahmadinejad’s latest speech and the President Obama’s Middle East initiatives.
