Reporters photograph goats as they are released from a trailer at Congressional Cemetery in Washington, D.C. More than 100 goats will be taking over the cemetery to help clean up brush in an area away from the graves. The goats will graze 24 hours a day for six days to eliminate vines, poison ivy and weeds, while also "fertilizing the ground."

One of the pigs died from the heat after the accident as temperature in Fuzhou reached 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees Fahrenheit), according to local media.

An anti-government protester wearing a mask painted in the colors of the Thai national flag looks on as riot police officers stand guard outside the parliament in Bangkok. Thailand's parliament was due to debate a political amnesty bill as anti-government protesters marched to try to get it scrapped, saying it could let ex-premier Thaksin Shinawatra return from exile without having to serve a jail sentence.
