آمریکا و جهان در سوگ محمد علی، قهرمان افسانه ای بوکس

محمد علی قهرمان افسانه ای بوکس جهان شبانگاه جمعه در میان دوستان و خانواده اش در بیمارستانی در فینیکس آریزونا، جایی که برای درمان مشکلات تنفسی بستری شده بود، درگذشت.

مرگ محمد علی که سه بار قهرمان سنگین وزن بوکس جهان شده بود، در صدر اخبار جهان قرار گرفته و رسانه های تمام کشورهای جهان درباره او، زندگی و طرز فکرش سخن می گویند.

ورزشکاران، چهره های معروف، رهبران دولت ها و چهره های سیاسی به سرعت پیام های تسلیت خود را به یاد محمد علی از طریق رسانه ها و رسانه های اجتماعی منتشر کردند و بسیاری دیگر عکس های خود با این قهرمان بوکس را روی رسانه های اجتماعی به اشتراک گذاشتند.

باراک اوباما رئیس جمهوری آمریکا که پیشتر میزبان محمد علی در کاخ سفید بود و یک جفت دستکش بوکس را که او به دست کرده بود به یادگار نگاه داشته روز شنبه گفت: "علی جهان را تکان داد و جهان جای بهتری شد."

اوباما محمد علی را به دیگر رهبران حقوق مدنی هم دوره او تشبیه کرد و گفت علی در مبارزه برای آنچه که درست بود دوشادوش مارتین لوترکینگ و نلسون ماندلا ایستاد.

اوباما همچنین این عکس را که مربوط به به اوایل دوران ریاست جمهوری اوست توییت کرد و زیر آن نوشت: "آرام بخواب، قهرمان."

بیل کلینتون رئیس جمهوری اسبق آمریکا که مدال ریاست جمهوری آمریکا را به محمد علی اهدا کرد نیز توییت کرد: "خدانگهدار دوست من. تو از خیلی جهات عالی بودی."

بیل کلینتون همچنین از طرف خود و همسرش هیلاری، کاندیدای نامزدی ریاست جمهوری آمریکا در بیانیه ای نوشت: "از همان روز که مدال طلای المپیک ۱۹۶۰ را برد، دوستداران بوکس در تمام جهان می دانستند که نظاره گر ترکیبی از زیبایی و شکوه، سرعت و قدرت هستند که تکرار نخواهد شد."

دونالد ترامپ کاندیدای جمهوریخواه ریاست جمهوری نیز در توییتی نوشت: "علی! یک قهرمان حقیقتا ممتاز و انسانی فوق العاده. همه برای او دلتنگ خواهند شد."

بان کی مون دبیرکل سازمان ملل متحد گفت: "سازمان ملل متحد از این که از زندگی و کار یکی از عالی ترین بشردوستان و مدافعان صلح در قرن گذشته نفع برد، سپاسگذار است."

نفوذ و تاثیر محمد علی فراتر از جهان بوکس بود و چهره های شناخته شده بین المللی از او به نیکی یاد کردند. پله، قهرمان افسانه ای فوتبال برزیل در توییتر و اینستاگرام نوشت: "جهان ورزش ضایعه ای بزرگ دریافت کرد... اندوهی که عمیق است."

دیه گو مارادونا، فوتبالیست معروف و محبوب آرژانتینی نیز روی فیسبوک نوشـت: "بهترین تمام دوران ها رفت...چطور می توان این ضایعه را حس نکرد... او رفت چون دیگر نمی توانست به ما شادی دهد. به خانواده اش تسلیت می گویم."

محمدجواد ظریف وزیر خارجه ایران نیز در پیامی توییتری نوشت: "باشد که خداوند پذیرای علی در مرحمت خود باشد... بهترین در رینگ و در مبارزه برای عدالت، شرافت و صلح."

قرار است جلد نشریه ورزشی "اسپورتز ایلاستریتد" در شماره ۱۳ ژوئن به عکس محمد علی اختصاص یابد. به این ترتیب این چهلمین باری می شود که این نشریه عکس علی را روی جلد خود کار می کند. این عکس مربوط به یکی از جلسات تمرین او در دهه ۷۰ پس از وقفه و بازگشت به بوکس بود. این وقفه به دلایل حقوقی و به واسطه گرویدنش به اسلام و سرپیچی از رفتن به جنگ پیش آمده بود.
