An Iranian Writes To Prim minister Tony Blair - 2003-06-13

Dear Mr. Prim minister,

I am an Iranian far away from my homeland in exile here in Sweden, The reason I am taking your precious time, is that we Iranian people are suffering from this theocratic, anti human, terrorist regime of mullahs. And unfortunately the Iranian people mostly blame your country for backing up this bunch of illiterate clergies.

Mr. prim minister, we have more than 3000 years of written history, at least not less than any country in Europe, do we not deserve a secular democracy? Are we not in twenty first century? Are you not thinking of Iran's tomorrow, for your countries national interest?

Mr. Prim minister, I am sure that, this extremist regime is going to change, whether you like it or not, if your foreign minister Mr. jack Straw is so fond of these ayatollahs, he can bring them to London, before it is too late, before we send them to the dust bin of history.

Mr. Prim minister, we still remember the rules BBC played, when you made an Imam from the most illiterate, cruel, blood thirsty, Stone Age living clergy and forcing His Majesty the King of Iran to exile. From that time on, we are living in misery, four millions of Iranian abroad seeking refugee.

Mr. prim minister, there is no difference between these bunch of clergies, they are all the same, and they are all against the humanity and democracy, I am asking you to think about your future relation with free democratic Iran and back up the Iranian people, that is the right decision made by US president, and I believe that you will benefit from this policy, and that would fulfill your future National Interest as well.

Best regards,

Mehran Makki
