Today’s Woman will focus on the United Nations 53rd Commission on the Status of Women including contributions from guest Ms. Elahe Amini, university professor based in Los Angeles. Ms. Amini will discuss her participation in the United Nation's recent Commission on the Status of Women.

News and Views covers a meeting between the US and Britain’s secretaries of state in regards to Iran. There’s also an update on discussions in NATO about security issues in Afghanistan, and reactions to Syria’s Assad expressing his willingness to help mediate between the West and Iran. From inside Iran NaV interviews a blogger who has been sentenced to jail for his activities.

Roundtable hosts Prof. Mehrdad Mashayekhi who will discuss the recent developments in Iran’s presidential campaign and whether secular forces should throw their support behind the eventual reformist candidate.
