Today’s Woman will discuss women and sports with PNN's Behnood Mokri. The remainder of the show will discuss the status of women in Kurdistan with guest Ms. Hero Jeldiyani from Irbil, head of the Kurdistan Women's Organization in Iran. Also included will be a phone interview with Ms. Chinor Ghaderi, member of the Democratic Women's Union of Kurdistan.

News and Views updates on Secretary of State Clinton’s trip to Asia and her stop in Indonesia. There’s also a report on the Obama administration’s announcement that more US troops will be sent to Afghanistan. There’s an update on Israel’s new government, as well as reporting on the International Atomic Energy Agency head commenting that Iran is still not cooperating in discussing its nuclear program. Additionally the broadcast continues its series on Iran and the environment.

Roundtable dedicates this day to viewer participation.

Late Edition updates on the US sending more troops to Afghanistan. There’s also a report on vintage cars in France, an update on the student movement in Iran, an interview with two singers from Tajikistan, the best photos from the World Press Organization, and a preview of the Oscars.
