Today’s Woman hosts Omid Reza Mir Sayafi, a blogger sentenced to 2.5 yrs in jail. Reporters Without Borders has called for an overturn of verdict. There’s also an interview with Solmaz Sharif, the New York based editor of an internet sports magazine, to discuss women in sports in 2008.


News and Views will advance its reporting on Russia’s purported sale of surface to air missiles to Iran. The US State Department is seeking clarification of deal and spokesperson will join the program to comment. There’s also coverage Vice President Elect Joe Biden’s recent comments regarding Iran, and a report that The UN Security Council has passed a resolution to stop foreign governments, companies or individuals seeking compensation from Iraq during 2009. Dr. Reza Moridi joins the program. He’s an Iran-Candian Nuclear scientist and a member of Canadian Liberal Party. Dr. Moridi is the first Iranian Canadian elected to a Provincial or federal legislature. Last year Dr. Mordi got Parliament to recognize Norooz as an official day.

Roundtable will hosts Iranian singer and song writer Kaveh Yaghmai to discuss music and Iran's youth.
