Today’s Womanwill begin with coverage of current events, including a phone interview Mr. Mohammad Sharif, lawyer of Ronak Safazadeh, a Kurdish woman in legal trouble for human rights violations in Iran. Next, the show will include an interview with Ms. Sussana Bahar, child exploitation expert based in Sweden, on children and addiction. The remainder of the show will continue the discussion on children and addiction with our guest Dr. Zaini, psychologist based in Los Angeles.

News and Viewscontinues coverage of the global financial crisis. Dr. Fereydoon Khavand, professor of international economic relations at the University of Rene Descartes in Paris, will join in live to talk about this. We’ll also discuss reports that Iran's annual inflation rate jumped 1.8 percentage points in September to 29.4 percent, highlighting a growing source of discontent ahead of next year's presidential election. A series of private-sector strikes has forced the Iranian government to suspend the implementation of a new sales tax. Many shopkeepers in Tehran, Mashad and Tabriz also refused to sell goods in protest of a tax measure that took effect in the final week of September.
In other news, the Russian government denied reports that it plans to sell S-300 surface-to-air missiles to Iran, and continue covering the representatives from the P5+1 will soon discuss the settlement of Iran's nuclear issue via telephone. From inside Iran we’ll have the first part of an exclusive interview with an imprisoned highjacker who is sentenced to death. Khaled Hardani is in Rajaaee Shahr prison and his death sentence from 7 years ago was reversed.
