News & Views: We will have coverage of President Bush’s trip to Egypt and his presser with Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak. On this last stop of the Mid East trip the two are expected to discuss the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, Iran and bilateral ties with his Egyptian counterpart. Our Washington Report covers Sec of State Rice’s Press conference with her Saudi counterpart Saud al Failsal. She called on Iran to abide by the UN Sec Resolution on their nuclear program. Al-Faisal said as a neighbour, Saudi Arabia has nothing against Iran. An interview with Amnesty International's Drewery Dyke on their recent report on the practice of stoning in Iran. Peter Spatharis will join us to discuss Turkey and the region. Topics will include Turkish gas supplies to Iran, Turkish incursions into Northern Iraq, and reports that Turkish and U.S. energy firms will cooperate to ship Iraqi natural gas across Turkey to Europe. Spatharis is a Greece/Turkey/Iran regional expert and was a former officer in Greece's military.
