روز جهانی آب
سوم اسفند (۲۲ مارس) روز جهانی آب است. بنا به تخمين سازمان ملل متحد، از هر شش نفر انسان روی زمين، بيش از يکنفر به آب به اندازه کافی برای آشاميدن، تهيه غذا و شستشو (بيست تا پنجاه ليتر در روز) دسترسی ندارد.
