ازدواج سلطنتی پرنس ویلیام و نامزدش کیت میدلتون
اواخر روز پنجشنبه، پرنس ویلیام، طرفداران خاندان سلطنتی را با یک پیاده روی از قبل اعلام نشده شگفت زده کرد. پرنس ویلیام، ۲۸ ساله، پادشاه آینده بریتانیا، چندین دقیقه را صرف دست دادن با افراد کرد و به آنها گفت باید تنها جملات را در روز عقد درست ادا کند. روز جمعه، پرنس ویلیام و کیت میدلتون، بزرگترین ازدواج سلطنتی بریتانیا را از زمان ازدواج پرنس چارلز و خانم دایانا اسپنسر، پدر و مادر پرنس ویلیام در سال ۱۹۸۱ رقم می زنند.
